They are really just doing that so the kids feel special which would make the kids ask the parents " mommy/daddy can we go to that store i like pushing the cart" or something like that. The more people that go to that supermarket means more profit for the people that work there.

I'm not completely sure what you meant but i think you meant what would a loved one do if someone they loved died? I think they would cry and be very sad. If someone I loved died I would probably stay in my room for about a month and cry. Also the vein thing I'd be freaked out and I would ask someone for help or ask what happened.
