Answer:

shown below

Explanation:

Colonial settlement after 1600 progressively replaced the supposedly indigenous district of Norumbega with the European imposition of new regions: New France, New England, and the New Netherlands. First along the coast, and then along the major rivers into the interior, European and Native place-names fought their way across the surface of the maps. Against the European desire to name the new lands after those with which they were already familiar–John Smith’s 1614 map of New England presents an extreme case (26, 27)–the early settlers depended in large part upon trade and other contacts with the Native peoples and so necessarily adopted indigenous place-names. Ultimately, the local details of colonial settlement, endlessly repeated, produced the convoluted interweaving of English, French, and Native place-names that is the hallmark of modern New England.

WITCHER [35]

Answer: straw polls

Explanation:

A straw poll an unofficial vote that shows how the public thinks about a specific subject or their vote intentions in an election.

Literary Digest took a presidential election straw poll for years, and for years it accurately predicted the winner. It was only in 1936 that the poll predicted, mistakenly, the Republican candidate as the winner, and Literary Digest lost its credibility.

Are you satisfied that nepal is a secular state
mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

It really depends on your perspective. This has to do with your own opinion. Do you think that having an official religion greatly affects the state of Nepal, or do you think that it does not? Do you think that, being religiously affiliated, that it will affect Nepal's foreign policy, national policy, etc?

The change of Nepal to being a secular state would not be a problem at all, considering that the state of Nepal is fairly balanced as of right now.
