or, -x=58-42

with change in side sign also chamges we change sides to make like terms in one side and unlike in amother side.

or, -x= 16

or,x=-16.

therefore x=-16...

FOR BRAINLIST ANSWER AND 10 POINTS ANSWER ALL PLZ !!!!!
igor_vitrenko [27]

Greetings!

A)

If you can see, every 4 minutes the amount of water is increasing at a constant rate.

197 - 153 = 44

285 - 241 = 44

This means that at 8 minutes, because there is 153 gallons already in, we can divide 8 by 4 to see how many groups of 4 minutes there were.

8 ÷ 4 = 2

So then we can subtract two lots of 44 from 153:

153 - (44 x 2) = 65

So the starting amount was 65.

B)

The answer to B is the second option, because it is true that the amount of water is increasing. This is by 44 gallons per 4 minutes.

The amount of gallons per minute can be found out by dividing the amount by 4:

44 ÷ 4 = 11

So it is 11 gallons per minute.

How do you solve (2x-7)(5x+3)=0
sammy [17]

Step-by-step explanation:

First I do it as separate equations 2x-7=0 and 5x+3=0. In this equation you get two answers so you first answer 2x-7=0

2x-7=0

    +7   +7

2x=7

/2   /2

x=7/2

Then do 5x+3=0

                     -3  -3

                5x=-3

                    /5 /5

                x=  -3/5

Then you can check by putting them back in.

Can anyone explain how you graph things for example, like y=x-4 how would you graph that
Savatey [412]

Answer:

In basicallity if a question such as this pops up, the correct way to go would first be to graph this. y=x-4 would be equivalent to x=4.

My paper work is below:

y = x - 4

0 = x - 4

-x = -4

x = 4

Hope this helped..
