Customers of a phone company can choose between two service plans for long distance calls. The first plan has a $24 monthly fee
pentagon [3]

Answer:

600 minutes

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's make the two equations equal to each other.

24 + .13x = .17x

Subtract .13x from both sides.

24 = .17x - .13x

24 = .04x

Divide by .04 on both sides to get the value of x.

24/.04 = 600

x = 600

Therefore, for 600 minutes of calls will the cost of the two phone plans be equal.

I need help please!!
Harrizon [31]
I'll do 1 and 8, and you should then be able to do 2 and 9!

For 1, we can multiply these separately  - 3*4*9=108 and 5+7+2=13 (exponent multiplication is adding them!), so we have 108b^13

For 8, we can again add the exponents up to get (5/7)^8

The surface area of a rectangular prism is 442 square feet. The length is 11 feet, and the height is 8 feet. What is the width o
Orlov [11]
There are 6 surfaces on a rectangular prism . 3 pairs of equal area.

Surface area  2wl + 2hw + 2 hl     where h = height, w = width,  l = length.

So inserting the given values:-

442 = 2*w*11 + 2 *8* w + 2*8*11

442 = 22w  + 16w + 176

38w =  442-176 = 266

w =  7

width = 7 feet
