Mechanical digestions is usually associated with the mouth. You mechanically chew the food and saliva breaks it down. Chemical digestion occurs in the stomach where stomach acid breaks it down.

Mechanical digestion begins in the mouth as the food is chewed.
Chemical digestion involves breaking down the food into simpler nutrients that can be used by the cells.

Electrophysiological studies of rats learning T-mazes have found _________.a. different patterns of activation in the basal gang
Solnce55 [7]

Electrophysiological studies of rats learning T-mazes have found a. different patterns of activation in the basal ganglia during early learning and later stable performance

Explanation:

  • Forced alternation and left-right discrimination tasks using the T-maze have been widely used to assess working and reference memory, respectively, in rodents.
  • Basal ganglia are strongly interconnected with the cerebral cortex, thalamus, and brainstem, as well as several other brain areas. The basal ganglia are associated with a variety of functions, including control of voluntary motor movements, procedural learning, habit learning, eye movements, cognition, and emotion.
  • The direct pathway, sometimes known as the direct pathway of movement, is a neural pathway within the central nervous system (CNS) through the basal ganglia which facilitates the initiation and execution of voluntary movement.
  • Damage to the basal ganglia cells may cause problems controlling speech, movement, and posture. This combination of symptoms is called parkinsonism. A person with basal ganglia dysfunction may have difficulty starting, stopping, or sustaining movement.

Jan's sister and mother have both had breast cancer. She is wondering if she should undergo genetic testing to check for a mutat
Lynna [10]
A) Yes, Jan should undergo genetic sequencing.
BRCA1/BRCA2 are the causes of 20-25% of all hereditary breast cancers, so if Jan's mother and sister both have breast cancer, then the odds are that she has BRCA1 as well.

B)
Pros: If she does have an abnormal BRCA1 gene, she can take steps to lower her risk of breast cancer.

Cons: The tests can incite discrimination towards her in the workplace, and having it known she has a risk for breast cancer can severely increase the cost of insurance.

C) Genetic sequencing could affect the frequency of genetic diseases because the test could point out --- I can't finish because I have to go. I'm so sorry, reask the url of this question and ask someone to finish. Have a nice day!

Natasha2012 [34]
Answer:
PICC lines are appropriate for long-term therapy and can easily be used in the home environment.

Explanation:
The most appropriate type of IV access for Elaine is a PICC line because the practitioner recommended home IV therapy for two weeks. These lines are actually the most appropriate because they can be used in places such as home environment and for long-term therapy.
A PICC line is a long, thin, flexible tube called a catheter. It is used to give you chemotherapy and other medicines. A doctor or nurse puts it into a vein above the bend of your elbow. It can stay in place until your treatment is over. <span>

Answer:

Energy.

Explanation:

Generally, electrons revolves continuously in the shells of  atoms.if these electrons are located in the outer most shells of an atom, they are refereed to as the Valence electrons.

They are needed for chemical reactions of a particular atom with another, through their loses or sharing.

In Non -valence atoms their outermost shells do not have electrons at their outermost shells, such atoms are stable.

However, if  certain quantity of energy is supplied  to  such atom, the electron  gains energy and therefore becomes excited.

They therefore move from lower energy levels to higher energy levels, and makes the non- valence atom becomes valence temporarily, as they move into the outermost shell.
