Answer: heavy eroded particles settle out of moving water

Placer deposits forms when rocks weathered due to the effect of water. The heavy minerals from the rocks get settled down in water. Minerals that form placer deposits have high specific gravity, they are resistant to chemical weathering process and are durable.

Placer deposits form when (D) organic matter is compressed over millions of years.

Further Explanation:

During the sedimentaryprocess when the heavy and valuable minerals accumulate, placer deposits/ placer is formed. These are found in the mountain streams. Placer deposits are usually associated with precious metal mining like gold. Sedimentation is the process of settling down of the particles in a medium according to their size.

In the presence of gravity sedimentation occurs. The larger particles have more gravitational force that pulls them down followed by the lighter ones. When the heavy and stable minerals are introduced to weathering, the particles get eroded and flow down through a stream. Because of the heaviness, the metals then settle down at some place and this phenomenon results in the formation of placer deposits.

Placer deposits are usually used in economic geology because metals of high specific gravity which settle down and are concentrated over time are used for valuable purposes. The few varieties of the so-called placer deposits would include: stream or alluvial placer deposits; beach placer deposits; eluvial placers; and eolian placer deposits. Stream or alluvial deposits are so far the most significant placer deposits because these have yielded the most placer gold, cassiterite, platinum, and gemstones. Placer deposits can demonstrate to be truly significant because of a similar reason of high measures of important metals found there.

The plant kingdom is divided into 2 groups vascular and nonvascular. describe each subclass. include key words such as vascular
BaLLatris [955]

Vascular and Nonvascular Plants

Explanation:

Kingdom Plantae on the basis of vasculature is divided into two groups-vascular and non-vascular plants .

 • Vascular plants or tracheophytes have a proper tissue-level organization and true shoot and root structures like leaves, stem, flowers, root etc
 • The tissue system or vasculature of vascular plants compromises of vascular tissues like tubular vessels – xylem and phloem
 1. The xylem transports nutrients to various parts of the body from the leaves.
 2. Phloem conducts water and other nutrients from the roots to various parts of the plant .
 • These are flowering plants that include the phanerogams – angiosperms and gymnosperms and bears flowers and fruits like the cedars, pine, clubmosses, lilies, sunflower etc.
 • Dicots are with tubular vasculature.
 • Non-vascular plants or bryophytes with an absence of proper tissue-level organization and true shoot or root systems
 • Nonvascular plants are small. Their transport mechanism is poor due to lack of vascular tissues
 • These plants are lack proper shoot or root system.
 • It includes mosses, hornworts etc.
 • Monocots are plants with scattered tube-like vessels .

Cloning and identifying genetically caused diseases
Molecular genetics is scientific study of composition of genes. This field is a subcategory of biology and heredity which is responsible for unearthing and delving the anatomy and physiology of the genes. This field helps us to understand and find evidence in the compounds, substances and elements found and synthesized in our genes and what contains in our nucleic acides –RNA and DNA –framework of our chromosomes. And also the origin and history of how genes came to be. These are codes and like-signals that makes us who we are in a macro-perspective.
