In a rhombus, all sides are equal.

So for the quadrilateral MNOP to be a rhombus, the given sides have to be equal. THat is

MN=ON

4x-7 =7-3x

Adding 3x to both sides and addinf 7 to both sides

7x = 14

Now we need to get rid of 7 and for that we do division, that is

\frac{7x}{7} = \frac{14}{7}

x=2

Correct option is the second option .

Solve the equation for y. 8x – 9y = 11
Vikentia [17]
8x - 9y = 11    (subtract 8x from each side)

- 9y = -8x + 11  (divide -9 from each side)

\frac{-9y}{-9} = \frac{-8x+11}{-9}

y = \frac{-8}{-9} x - \frac{11}{9}

D. y=\frac{8}{9} x - \frac{11}{9}

Classify the following expression by degree and term: x^3y + 5xyz A: 3rd degree trinomial B: 4th degree binomial C: 3rd degree b
drek231 [11]

Answer:

4th degree binomial

Step-by-step explanation:

x^3y + 5xyz

Add the exponents on each term

3+1 = 4     1+1+1 =3

The highest power is the degree, so it is a 4th degree

It also has 2 terms so it is a binomial

Zigmanuir [339]

Answer:

  • -2.6 is the slope.
<h3><u>Step-by-step explanation:</u></h3>
  • Slope = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }
  • => \frac{-17-9}{19 - 9}
  • => -26/10
  • => -2.6
<h3><u>Conclusion:</u></h3>

Therefore, <u>-2.6 is the slope.</u>

Hoped this helped.

HELP ASAP Store A sells 5 bagels for $2.05. Store B sells 3 bagels for $1.35. How do the unit rates compare?
Crank

Step-by-step explanation:

Store A:

5 bagels for $2.05, 1 bagel for $2.05/5 = $0.41.

Store B:

3 bagels for $1.35, 1 bagel for $1.35/3 = $0.45.

Hence the bagels at Store B are $0.04 more expansive than the bagels at Store A. (C)
