Agriculture started becoming a big part of their everyday life. Certain plants produced material to make clothing, and fruits and vegetables were a great source of food. Europe's techniques, along with other's production, it turned out to be a great source of "teamwork". One would produce clothing/ food, as well as the others. They would each trade with one another, to make the process quite simple, yet fair, at the same time. This is actually what we use, to this day, considering we trade for money.

In what ways did African slavery in the British colonies grow out of servitude and bear close similarities to it, and in what wa
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

Directly or indirectly, the economies of all 13 British colonies in North America depended on slavery. By the 1620s, the labor-intensive cultivation of tobacco for European markets was established in Virginia, with white indentured servants performing most of the heavy labor. Before 1660 only a fraction of Virginia planters held slaves. By 1675 slavery was well established, and by 1700 slaves had almost entirely replaced indentured servants. With plentiful land and slave labor available to grow a lucrative crop, southern planters prospered, and family-based tobacco plantations became the economic and social norm.

guapka [62]

Answer:

The Roanoke Colonies were an ambitious attempt by England's Sir Walter Raleigh to establish a permanent North American settlement with the purpose of harassing Spanish shipping, mining for gold and silver, discovering a passage to the Pacific Ocean, and Christianizing the Indians.

When he arrived at Roanoke Island in 1590 he found “CROATOAN” carved on a post and “cro” on a tree. He found no distress marks. They literally made a sign. It was expected the colonists would go with their friends, the Croatoans and tribe member, Manteo, Dawson
