Deforestation encourages flooding by allowing water to run off into streams

Explanation:

Deforestation plays vital roles in the flooding. The roots of the Trees prevent sediment runoffs and forests hold more water than farms or grasslands.Firstly the leaves in the trees will capture some amounts of water which will be eventually evaporated. Secondly, some quantity of water is absorbed by the tree's roots. Also,Tree roots hold the soil in place, reducing the movement of sediment that can shrink river channels downstream..

The process of deforestation will lead to dislodging of the topsoil. this makes the topsoil unstable and reduces its capacity to hold down the water

How will the addition of water affect the acidity of a highly acetate solution having pH 2
seropon [69]
By common logic you know that water has pH=7
When you add water to something that is acidic, for example you add water to vinegar, you make it less acidic. So the pH from 2 will be higher for instance 3 or 4 or 5 etc.
This happens because pH=-log[H3O+]

What does photosynthesis produce? What are these products used for?
Doss [256]

photosynthesis produces glucose which is stored as starch in the plant.

Explanation:

6H₂O + 6CO₂ -----> C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂(as a waste product for plants)

Photosynthesis reduces carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which reduces the green house gasses in the atmosphere which reduces the green house effect.
