Competition is considered a abiotic and biotic factor.
Abiotic factor affect the ability of organisms to survive and reproduce.
Biotic factor is a living organism that affect another living organism in the eco system. Competition is the interaction between organisms from the same species or between species in situation in which both are harmed. According to the definition, competition is an abiotic factor because affects the survival of the organisms but it is also a biotic factor, because the behavior of the one organism affect the behavior of the another,

The three type of tectonic plate boundaries are:

Convergent- two plates are moving towards each-other. Forms volcanoes, mountains and can cause earthquakes too.

Divergent - two plates are moving away from eachother. The space that is created between them is filled with lava from the mantle which cools to become part of the crust. These areas are hotspots.

Transform - two plates are moving against eachother (one down, one up etc.) They cause minor earthquakes.
