Boys : Girls : Total
33 : 11 : 44

Find the simplest form:
3 : 1 : 4

Set the total to 60 ( so we multiply by 15)
3 x 15 : 1 x 15 : 4 x 15
45 : 15 : 60

Boys  = 45
Girls = 15
Total = 60

Ans: There are 15 girls that signed up
