I'm pretty sure it was Step One. When you multiply -1/4, I don't think the symbol is supposed to change to an addition sign. It's supposed to still be a minus sign.

9 dollars an hour is variable dependent on the number of hours, hence it has to be 9h. That means if you work 1 hour, it’s 9 * 1 = 9, 2 hours is 9 * 2 = 18, etc...

A $15 tip each day does not depend on anything; it’s a constant. That means it would just be + 15.

So now you have 9h + 15.

If it says she made no less than $110, it means that she can make $110 and any amount above it. So it would be whatever she makes is greater or equal to 110.

Hence your final answer is c).

Find the horizontal distance of a soccer ball being kicked at a 40 degree angle with a velocity of 50 feet per second, to the ne
grin007 [14]

Answer:

77 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

The horizontal distance is the range and it is a projectile motion.

So, range R = u²sin2θ/g where u = velocity = 50 ft/s, g = acceleration due to gravity = 32 ft/s² and θ = projection angle = 40°.

Substituting the values of the variables into the equation, we have

R = u²sin2θ/g

= (50 ft/s)²sin2(40°)/32 ft/s²

= (2500 ft²/s²)sin80°/32 ft/s²

= (2500 ft²/s²) × 0.9848/32 ft/s²

= 2462.02 ft²/s² ÷ 32 ft/s²

= 76.94 ft

≅ 77 ft to the nearest foot
