irt = simple Interest we can fill in what we know so  $500 * I * 20 = $250 than we solve for I so $250 / 500 = 0.5 than 0.5 / 20 = 0.025

8. Irt = simple interest  fill it in 850 * I * 10 = $255 and then solve for I 255 / 850 = 0.3 than 0.3 / 10 = 0.03

9. Irt = simple interest 1200 * I * 15 = $720 and than solve for I  so 720 / 1200 = 0.6 and then 0.6 / 15 = 0.04

A person filing her federal income tax return with the Single filing status had a taxable income of $79,950. According to the ta
Tom [10]

Answer:

The income that she will have left over after paying his

federal income tax = $63,775.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The amount of taxable income = $79,950
  • So, the taxable income will be in the range from $33,950 to $82,250.
  • It means, there will be $4675 fixed tax and additional 25% tax on the amount over $33,950.

As

The amount over $33,950 = $79,950 - $33,950 = $46,000

So

The additional tax = 46000 × 0.25 = $11,500     ∵25% = 0.25

So, the total federal income tax will be: $11500 + $4675 = $16,175

Therefore, the income that she will have left over after paying his federal income tax = $79,950 - $16,175 = $63,775.

The Quadratic Formula, x equals negative b plus or minus the square root of b squared minus 4 times a times c, all over 2 times
DedPeter [7]

Answer:

The correct option is  2 .

Therefore ,the missing denominator of the solution. 4 plus or minus the square root of 2, all over is <u>  2 . </u>

     x=\dfrac{4\pm\sqrt{2}}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

For a Quadratic Equation ax² + bx + c = 0

By Formula Method we get

x=\dfrac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}

So we have Quadratic Equation is 2x² - 8x + 7 = 0

On Comparing we get

a=2\\b=-8\\c=7

Substituting a , b, c values we get

x=\dfrac{-(-8)\pm\sqrt{(-8)^{2}-4(2)(7)}}{2(2)}\\\\x=\dfrac{8\pm\sqrt{64-56}}{4}\\\\x=\dfrac{8\pm\sqrt{8}}{4}\\\\x=\dfrac{8\pm2\sqrt{2}}{4}\\\\x=2(\dfrac{4\pm\sqrt{2}}{4})\\\\x=\dfrac{4\pm\sqrt{2}}{2}

Therefore ,the missing denominator of the solution. 4 plus or minus the square root of 2, all over is <u>  2 . </u>
