Perception is the mental process which allows to perceive a lemon as yellow.

Further Explanation:

The light reflection from the lemon enters the eye where the cone cells present at the back side of the eye has photoreceptor which sends signal to the brain. The cone cells is for perception of the colour vision and there are three different forms of cone cells, each one with different light absorbing receptors. Red-absorbing, green-absorbing and blue-absorbing are the three types of cones cells based on different wavelength of light absorbed by it. The red and green cones gets activated by the light reflected from the lemon. The opponent process cells are neurons which process the information received from the cone cells.

The colour opponent cell is excited or inhibited by one colour in the centre and inhibited or excited by its opponent colour in the surrounding. The red/green, black/white, yellow/blue are the opponent pairs.

Therefore, yellow sensitive opponent process cells are induced to perceive the colour of lemon as yellow in colour.

A lemon has no colour, but when one see a lemon, the brain process the information and make one to perceive that the lemon has yellow colour.
The mental process used by the brain to do this is divided into two stages, the first stage is reflection. When light is incident on the lemon, it reflects the light energy into one's eyes, where it is transformed into neural message. The eye is made up of three different cones which are sensitive to different frequencies of light. These cones process the color and the colour perceived by the observer depend on the type of sensitive opponent cells that are stimulated. A yellow color is perceived when the yellow sensitive opponent cells are stimulated.

tekilochka [14]

Answer:

Option-

 • As many believe after doing an extensive form of research work of years that reptiles are the ancestors of the mammals that we see now. Which means that we mammals evolved from the pre-historic form of reptiles.

Explanation:

 • Fossils of Thrinaxodon, a species that lived during the Triassic period, have been found in both South Africa and Antarctica. Thrinaxodon had a reptile-like skeleton and laid eggs, but small depressions on the front of its skull suggest it had whiskers and, therefore, fur. Thrinaxodon may have been warm-blooded. The fossils of Thrinaxodon are consistent with the hypothesis that mammals evolved from the pre-historic reptiles.

What are the effects that enzymes can have on substrates
Burka [1]
In chemical reactions involving enzymes, the substrate proteins are huge molecules that will only react with each other if they're aligned just the right way. If they are permitted to interact with the enzymes present, the won't collide and react often enough for the reaction to do any good. The enzymes align the molecules, basically acting like "molecule shepherds," showing them the way they need to react. This speeds up the reaction greatly, making things like digestion possible. Hope this is helpful
