Answer:

I think that the constitution outlined the very basic and general rights of the people at that time. Many things have changed since the constitution came into effect in 1789. I believe that the US has lived up to the ideas written and even exceeded it with the additional rights written throughout the years since then. (these rights being included in the bill of rights)

Explanation:

Note: I am not saying that the US has even close to the perfect government and there are a lot of things wrong with it. I am just stating a brief answer based on the content i have learned in my government class and answers they want to here in order for you to do well on the question. Hope this helps!
