It says 50 meters at a speed of 5 m/s. You would divide 50 and 5. Your answer would be 10 seconds. Hope this helps!

Time taken is equal to distance divided by speed
So time is 50/5 = 10 seconds

Simplify the expression.<br><br> (−2g5h2)5
vampirchik [111]
I am sure you are trying to type

( - 2 {g}^{5} {h}^{2} {)}^{5}
If that is it, then you should recall the law of exponents which says,

({a}^{m} {)}^{n} = {a}^{mn}
Let us share the exponent for each of them.

( - 2 {g}^{5} {h}^{2} {)}^{5} = ( { - 2)}^{5} ( { {g}^{5}) }^{5} ( { {h}^{2}) }^{5}
We now apply the law,

( - 2 {g}^{5} {h}^{2} {)}^{5} = ( { - 2)}^{5} ( { {g}^{5 \: \times 5}) }^{} ( { {h}^{2 \times 5}) }^{}
We now simplify to obtain,

( - 2 {g}^{5} {h}^{2} {)}^{5} = -32 {g}^{25} {h}^{10}

If that is not the expression let me know so I will know how to help you

Everett made 3/5 of the baskets he shot suppose he shot 60 baskets how many did he make
givi [52]
As given he made  3/5 of basket he shot.

So we can find number of basket made by Everett equal to 3/5 of total number of shot .

So if total number of shot is 60.

Then the number of basket made by Everett = \frac{3}{5} of 60.
                                                                            \frac{3}{5} * 60 =  \frac{3 * 60}{5} =  \frac{180}{5} = 36

So the number of basket made by Everett in 60 shots = 36.

BEING TIMED
kotegsom [21]

Answer:

(5,2)

Step-by-step explanation:

you need to go two half way from the farthest point from the left to the right so that would be from 2 to 8 which is a distance of 6 so you go halfway over and that puts you at 5 then you find the distance from the lowest point to the highest point which goes from -2 to 6 with a distance of 8 so that means you go up for which puts you at 2 which means the center of the triangle is at the point (5, 2)

Answer:

We conclude that:

h(f(-1))  = -2

∴ option D i.e. -2 is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

f(x) = 4x² - 1

g(x) = 1/2x + 5

h(x) = 2(x - 4)³

To determine

h(f(-1)) = ?

In order to determine h(f(-1)) first we need to determine f(-1).

substitute x = -1 in the function f(x) = 4x² - 1

f(-1) = 4(-1)² - 1

f(-1) = 4(1) - 1

f(-1) = 4-1

f(-1) = 3

so

h(f(-1)) = h(3)

now substitute h = 3 in the function h(x) = 2(x - 4)³

h(x) = 2(x - 4)³

h(3) = 2(3 - 4)³

h(3) = 2(-1)³

h(3) = 2(-1)

h(3) = -2

Thus,

h(f(-1)) = h(3) = -2

Hence, we conclude that:

h(f(-1))  = -2

∴ option D i.e. -2 is correct.
