Hi there!

The constant term would be 15.

A constant term is a term that does not or can not be changed.

Hope this helps !

If 3^2x+1=3^x+5 what is the value of x?
atroni [7]
Did you mean this?    <span>3^2x+1=3^x+5  =>  3^(2x+1) = 3^(x+5)?  If so, then 2x+1 is necessarily equal to x+5, so that 2x+1=x+5.  Thus, x = 4 (answer).

Those parentheses are not optional; they must be part of your problem statement and solution.</span>

Simplest form of 2/10
slega [8]
To simplify fractions, all you have to do is divide both the numerator and the denominator by the greatest common factor of both integers.

In this case, the greatest common factor of 2 and 10 is 2.

2/2=1
10/2=5

So, 2/10 in its simplest form is 1/5.

1/3 of 1/4 is the same as 2/6 of 2/8
(easier for me this way)
2/6 is 0.33
2/8 is 0.25 so you are in essence finding roughly 0.8333
that would be equal to the diagram at the bottom right
The other question is (i believe) 1/5 of 5/6
1/5 is 0.2, 5/6 is 0.833
another way to do it is to divide 833 by 5 is 166.6 so it would be 0.166
that would (i think) be the top right

You are standing 400ft away from a building that is 850ft tall. Find the angle of elevation from where you’re standing to the to
klio [65]

Answer:

The angle of elevation is approximately 64.8^o

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the two pieces of information given: "400 ft away from a building", and building that is "850 ft tall", can be regarded as the two legs of a right angle triangle (see attached image).

Then the angle \theta that we are trying to find (the angle of elevation) can be found by using the arc-tangent function:

tan(\theta)=\frac{850}{400} \\tan(\theta)=\frac{17}{8}\\\theta =arctan(\frac{17}{8})\\\theta = 64.8 ^o
