So if there is 7 people and shakes the hand of everyone once it would be  6 shakes for one person to shake all the 7 people.6 because himself is counted as one.
So if we multiply 6x7 we would have our answer which in this case is 42
42 handshakes in total from everybody.

A. For y= 2x-1, the slope is 2 and the y intercept is -1. Therefore, we should first plot (0,-1). From there, for each increment of x, increase y by 2. For y= 4x-5, the slope is 4 and the y ntercelt is -5. Therefore we should plot (0,-5) and plot an increase of 4 on the y axis per increase of 1 on the x axis. The solution is where the lines cross.

The variance calculated on 34 scores is equal to 14.94. what is the standard deviation?
ElenaW [278]

Since, the variance calculated on 34 scores is equal to 14.94.

We have to determine the standard deviation.

Relationship between Variance and standard deviation is:

Standard deviation = \sqrt(Variance)

Substituting the value of Variance, to evaluate the standard deviation.

We get,

Standard deviation = \sqrt(14.94)

= 3.865

= 3.87

Therefore, the standard deviation is 3.87

Amiraneli [1.4K]

Answer:

-19.322

Step-by-step explanation:

− a + ( − b ) −a+(−b)

First step is to combine like terms

-a -a + -b + -b

-2a -2b

We know a = 6.05 and b = 3.611

-2 (6.05)  -2(3.611)

-12.1 - 7.222

-19.322
