Demographics and health care statistics can show what illnesses are most likely to befall certain members of the population. For example, both heart disease and cancer are probably shown by statistics to be more common in the aging part of the population ie nowadays amongst the baby boomers.
Sinus infections happen when fluid builds up in the air-filled pockets in the face (sinuses), which allows germs to grow. Viruses cause most sinus infections, but bacteria can cause some sinus infections.
