When I say x1 I mean the x-value of the first coordinate which would be -2 and when I say y1 i mean the y-value of the first coordinate which is 6. So plugging in the coordinates would give you (-2+8),(6+-3). Now you add your terms together and get the numbers (6) and (3). After that you must divide those number by two so (6)/2 and (3)/2 which would equal (3,1.5).
