A bag of candy has a guaranteed ratio of 4:3 caramels to toffee. If a bag has 21 toffees in it, how many caramels are in the bag
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

28 caramels

Step-by-step explanation:

Since the ratio is 4:3 caramel to toffee, that means if there is 21 toffees you have to divide by 3 to get 7. So for the caramel, you multiply 4 x 7 = 28

Hopefully, that helped, and have a great day!

It cost Allison $5.80 to send 58 text messages. How much would it cost to send 40 text messages?
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

4$

Step-by-step explanation:
The ratio between the $5.80 spent for 58 text messages is $0.10. This means that each text message sent is $0.10. So you just multiply $0.10 and 40 text messages to find that it costs $4 to send 40 messages.

Please solve this 6-3 log2n=0
lutik1710 [3]
If that is 6-3(log2n)=0 then how you would go about solving it is by looking at log2n like x. In this case, for 6-3x=0,  x would have to  =2. So log2n has to =2. If log2n=2 and we assume that the base is 10 (because if there is no written base on a log then it is 10) then we need to rewrite the log to exponential form. Rewritten it's 10^2=2n. 100=2n, divide both sides by 2 and you get n=50.
