The ability of organisms to regulate and thus maintain a relatively stable internal environment, despite external pressures, is called HOMEOSTASIS. This word comes from two Latin/Greek root words: "homeo" and "stasis".
"Homeo" means constant or unchanging. And "stasis" or "static" refers to stillness, non-movement. So, together, we can translate Homeostasis into a constant stillness inside, which makes sense for "maintaining normal internal states."

Answer:

Homeostasis

Explanation:

refers to the necessity of an organism to maintain constant or stable internal conditions.

In order to maintain homeostasis, organisms must have structures and processes that allow them to respond to stimuli. For example, the cell membrane is a structure that allows cells to maintain the proper concentration of materials inside and outside of a cell, so the organism that contains the cell can function properly.

The use of arsenate instead of phosphate by glyceraldehyde 3‑phosphate dehydrogenase produces 1‑arseno‑3‑phosphoglycerate, which
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

In glycolysis, the generation of ATP takes place at the time of the transformation of 1,3-bisphosphoglycerate to 3-phosphoglycerate and at the time of the transformation of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate. However, when arsenate is used in place of phosphate it results in the generation of 1-arseno-3-phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate that further gets dissociated into 3-phosphoglycerate without generating any ATP.

However, in the process, the transformation of phosphoenolpyruvate to pyruvate does not get hampered, and therefore, the reaction will produce two ATP from one glucose. Although at the time of the preparatory phase of glycolysis, two ATPs are used that signifies that the net gain of ATP will be zero.

The water cycle always begins with?
ddd [48]
It always starts with evaporation, because without water vapor (the byproduct of evaporation), there would be no clouds (they are made out of water vapor and some other particles). Henceforth, there will be no rain.
