Assuming that no transversal line is present, I can present only the statements base on the figures of a parallelogram. A parallelogram is a quadrilateral. They only differ on the number of their parallel sides. A square has 2 parallel sides and all of its sides are equal or the same. A rhombus has 2 parallel sides and all of its sides are equal or only two of its sides are equal. A rectangle has 2 parallel sides. One parallel side is the same and can be bigger or smaller than the other parallel side. Trapezoid has only one pair of parallel sides. The other pair is a mirror to the other.

You are running a fuel economy study. One of the cars you find is red. It can travel 24 4/5 miles on 4/5 gallon of gasoline. Wha
Lilit [14]

Answer:

1) 28.4 miles per gallon

2) 34 miles per gallon

3) the red car

Step-by-step explanation:

Blue car:

Travels 35 1/2 miles on 1 1/4 gallons of gasoline

Red car:

Travels 27 1/5 miles on 4/5 gallons of gasoline

We want to know the unit rate for miles per hour, and to do it we have to divide the miles they travel by the gallons each car uses:

Blue car:

(35 1/2) / (1 1/4) = 28.4 miles per gallon

Red car:

(27 1/5) / (4/5) = 34 miles per gallon

The red car travels greater distance with 1 gallon of gasoline {and thats about it!}

m1=-3/-1

m1=3

Since parallel, m1=m2 so,

m1=m2=3

The slope of straight line passing through the point (6,-1) is

y-(-1)=m2(x-6)

y+1=3(x-6)
