Answer:

39 tables

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

third grade= 134

fourth grade=167

total=134+167=301

Now no. of students is 7 times no. of adults,

no. of adults= 301/7

                    =43

Total no. of people =301+43

                                 =344

Each picnic table can seat 9 people, so

No. of tables for 344 people= 344/9

                                              =38.222

39 tables picnic tables will need to be set up for the picnic!

Without solving determine the character of the solutions of the equation x^2+2x+5=0
Sav [38]
★ QUADRATIC RESOLUTION ★

Roots of the given equation will be imaginary because it's discriminant is less than 0 and hence it'll yield imaginary solutions

D < 0

b² - 4ac < 0

4² - 4 ( 5 ) < 0

16 - 20 < 0

-4 < 0

Hence it's character is stated above

A) What equation is used to find the vertex form of a parabola with the vertex (h, k)?
VikaD [51]
Y=ax2+bx+c . In this equation, the vertex of the parabola is the point (h,k) . You can see how this relates to the standard equation by multiplying it out: y=a(x−h)(x−h)+ky=ax2−2ahx+ah2+k .

-6/5-2/3v+4/15+1/3v Combining like terms to create an equivalent expression
WINSTONCH [101]

Answer:

(-1/3)v - 14/15

Step-by-step explanation:

Group the v terms together and then the constant terms:

v(-2/3 + 1/3) + (-6/5 + 4/15)

This simplifies to:

  (-1/3)v + (-18/15 + 4/15), or

   (-1/3)v - 14/15
