Answer is A, 0.925 * 100 = 92.5 which is what ya want.

Yup, the answer would be a;0.925 because when it comes to changing a percent to a decimal, you simply take the decimal and move it 2 times to the left. If the percent doesn't include a decimal there always is one at the end of the last number, between the last number and the percent symbol.Hope this helped

there were 18 boys and 12 girls playing dodge ball what percent of the players playing dodge ball were girls
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer: Answer is 40%

Step-by-step explanation: The total number of players in the game is 30 (that is boys and girls added together becomes 18 + 12= 30) altogether which is a hundred percent. The percentage of girls playing the game is calculated as;

12/30 × 100%

=2/5 × 100%

=200/5

=40%

Hey I’m struggling with number 13 so please show your work. Thx
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

\frac{5}{12}

Step-by-step explanation:

Because \frac{3}{5} is being multiplied by S, we can divide \frac{3}{5} from both sides of the equation. This will give us:

\frac{1}{4}÷\frac{3}{5}

But, that looks a bit hectic. Instead of dividing, you can multiply by the reciprocal (which is essentially how to divide fractions). So, instead of \frac{1}{4}÷\frac{3}{5}, you get:

\frac{1}{4}×\frac{5}{3}

When multiplying fractions, remember you can just multiply straight across-- numerator x numerator, then denominator x denominator.

By doing that, you get the fraction \frac{5}{12}

\frac{5}{12} cannot be simplified any more, so S=\frac{5}{12} is your answer :)

I hope this helps

HELP Solve for x. 4x − 3/3=7
Nutka1998 [239]

If the equation is written correctly, \frac{-3}{3} would become -1.

So the equation turns into: 4x-1=7.

Add 1 to both sides of the equation.

4x-1+1=7+1

4x=8

Divide both sides by 4 for x.

\frac{4x}{4}=\frac{8}{4}

x=2
