The pediatrician at the clinic explains to parents of a newborn that their child suffers from cleft palate. she tells them that
777dan777 [17]

Answer: No

The answer is no because the newborn palatine bones did not fused in the first place. If the palatine processes have not fused, then the palatine bones remain unfused since the palatine bones are still posterior to the palatine processes of the maxillae. With this, the non-fusion of palatine bones resulted to a cleft palate child.

Where is the weather most likely clear and dry
saul85 [17]
On the leeward side of a mountain range. In order for most rain bearing cloude to cross a mountain range, they must first be depleted of their moisture via precipitation. Then they will be lighter and can rise up to a higher elevation to cross over the mountain range where they will no longer be able to provide much precipitation.
