Answer:

0.11 m/s and 0.28 m/s

Explanation:

Average velocity is defined as the ratio of total displacement covered to the total time taken.

For first 0.25 m

Total displacement = 0.25 m

Total time taken = 2.23 second

Avearge velocity  = \frac{0.25}{2.23}

Average velocity = 0.11 m/s

For second 0.25 m

Total displacement = 0.50 - 0.25 = 0.25 m

Total time = 3.13 - 2.23 = 0.9 second

Avearge velocity  = \frac{0.25}{0.9}

Average velocity = 0.28 m/s

What are Newton’s 3 laws
Vladimir79 [104]

Newton's First Law of Motion:

I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.

Newton's Second Law of Motion:

II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. Acceleration and force are vectors (as indicated by their symbols being displayed in slant bold font); in this law the direction of the force vector is the same as the direction of the acceleration vector.

Newton's Third Law of Motion:

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

If one of two interacting charges is doubled, the force between the charges will _____________.
malfutka [58]

If one of two interacting charges is doubled, the force between the charges will double.

Explanation:

The force between two charges is given by Coulomb's law

F=\frac{k q1 q2}{r^{2}}

K=constant= 9 x 10⁹ N m²/C²

q1= charge on first particle

q2= charge on second particle

r= distance between the two charges

Now if the first charge is doubled,

we get F'=\frac{k (2q1) q2}{r^{2}}

F'= 2 F

Thus the force gets doubled.
