They may not feel the need to use the drug if they are calm and relaxed, and this is why it can serve as a great alternative to using street drugs or prescription drugs.

So, what I would suggest is for John to go see a doctor who is familiar with depression, anxiety, and all that Jazz, so that the doctor can provide John a few medicines he should take daily.
