How do you set up the equations?
ch4aika [34]
We will use d for drama and y for yearbook.

d + y = 64
d = y + 10

Now that we have the system if equations we can use substitution where you plug y+10 in for d in the first equation.

(y + 10) + y = 64

2y + 10 = 64

2y = 54

y = 27

If 27 of the 64 are in the yearbook club, 37 are in drama.

postnew [5]

Using the intersecting secant theorem:

Angle xyz = 1/2( wz- XX)

Xyz = 1/2(175-105)

Xyz = 1/2(70)

Xyz= 35

The answer is 35 degrees

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS ONE QUESTION
gavmur [86]

Given:

n=4 and r=3.

To find:

The combinations without repetition are possible if n=4 and r=3.

Solution:

Combination of selecting r item from total n items is:

^nC_r=\dfrac{n!}{r!(n-r)!}

We have n=4 and r=3. By using the above formula, we get

^4C_3=\dfrac{4!}{3!(4-3)!}

^4C_3=\dfrac{4\times 3!}{3!1!}

^4C_3=4

Therefore, the correct option is D.
