Answer with explanation:

If the length of three segments are, 9.2, 14.5 and 17.1 ,it can be sides of triangle if , Sum of two segments is greater than the third segment.

1.→ 9.2 +14.5=23.7 >17.1

2.→ 14.5 +17.1=41.6 > 9.2

3.→17.1 +9.2=26.3 >14.5

As, sum of any two segment is greater than third segment, so the following measurements can be the the lengths of the sides of a triangle.

If the triangle has a angle of 90°, you can solved this exercise by applying the Pythagorean Theorem, which is:

h²=a²+b²
h=√(a²+b²)

h: It is the hypotenuse (The opposite side of the right angle and the longest side of the triangle).

a and b: They are the legs (The sides that form the right angle).

The result of h=√(a²+b²), should be 17.1 (The longest side given in the problem). So, let's substitute the values of the legs into the Pythagorean equation:

h=√(a²+b²)
h=√((9.2)²+(14.5)²)
h=17.1

Therefore, the answer is:

Yes, the given measures can be the lengths of the sides of a triangle.

Arby’s sells brisket last year there was drought and farmers were able to raise fewer cows is this a change in supply or demand
kiruha [24]

This is a change in both supply and demand. Due to farmers raising fewer cows the supply of cows goes down. Because there is more of a need of cows due to the shortage the demand or need for them goes up. Due to the limited amount of cows and the high demand prices will go up.

Rashid [163]

Answer:

54

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve problems like this, always recall the "Two-Tangent theorem", which states that two tangents of a circle are congruent if they meet at an external point outside the circle.

The perimeter of the given triangle = IK + KM + MI

IK = IJ + JK = 13

KM = KL + LM = ?

MI = MN + NI ?

Let's find the length of each tangents.

NI = IJ = 5 (tangents from external point I)

JK = IK - IJ = 13 - 5 = 8

JK = KL = 8 (Tangents from external point K)

LM = MN = 14 (Tangents from external point M)

Thus,

IK = IJ + JK = 5 + 8 = 13

KM = KL + LM = 8 + 14 = 22

MI = MN + NI = 14 + 5 = 19

Perimeter = IK + KM + MI = 13 + 22 + 19 = 54

X=5y: 2x+5y=60

A) 10,4
B) 15,4
C) 20,4
D) 25,4
elena-14-01-66 [18.8K]

Answer:

C) 20, 4

Step-by-step explanation:

X = 5y

2x + 5y = 60

substitute in 5y for x: 2(5y) + 5y = 60

10y + 5y = 60

15y = 60

y = 4

x = 5y

x = 5(4) = 20
