Answer with explanation:

If the length of three segments are, 9.2, 14.5 and 17.1 ,it can be sides of triangle if , Sum of two segments is greater than the third segment.

1.→ 9.2 +14.5=23.7 >17.1

2.→ 14.5 +17.1=41.6 > 9.2

3.→17.1 +9.2=26.3 >14.5

As, sum of any two segment is greater than third segment, so the following measurements can be the the lengths of the sides of a triangle.

If the triangle has a angle of 90°, you can solved this exercise by applying the Pythagorean Theorem, which is:

 h²=a²+b²
 h=√(a²+b²)

 h: It is the hypotenuse (The opposite side of the right angle and the longest side of the triangle).

 a and b: They are the legs (The sides that form the right angle).

 The result of h=√(a²+b²), should be 17.1 (The longest side given in the problem). So, let's substitute the values of the legs into the Pythagorean equation:

 h=√(a²+b²)
 h=√((9.2)²+(14.5)²)
 h=17.1

 Therefore, the answer is:

 Yes, the given measures can be the lengths of the sides of a triangle.

In APQR, PQ- QR. If map
Hitman42 [59]

Answer:

3x-120 = x - 30

2x -120 = -30

2x= 90

x= 45

3(45) -120 (plug x into angle p to check your answer)

135-120

15 degrees

45-30 (plug x into angle r to make sure it's the same thing as angle p)

15 degrees (they're equal so now figure out angle Q and answer the question)

180 - (15 +15)

180- 30

150 is the measure of angle Q

so, the triangle is an obtuse isosceles triangle

What is the slope of this line?
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

3

Step-by-step explanation:

In the Slope-Intercept Formula, <em>y</em><em> </em><em>=</em><em> </em><em>mx</em><em> </em><em>+</em><em> </em><em>b</em><em>,</em><em> </em><em>m</em><em> </em>is the <em>Rate</em><em> </em><em>of</em><em> </em><em>Change</em><em> </em>[<em>Slope</em>]. Anyway, starting from the <em>y-intercept</em><em> </em>of [0, 2], move 3 units <em>north</em><em> </em>over 1 unit <em>east</em><em>.</em><em> </em>That is called <em>rise</em><em>\</em><em>run</em><em> </em><em>→</em><em> </em>3\1 = 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

2\dfrac{2}{3}+12\dfrac{6}{8}=2\dfrac{2}{3}+12\dfrac{6:2}{8:2}=2\dfrac{2}{3}+12\dfrac{3}{4}\\\\\text{Find}\ LCD:\\\\\text{List of multiples of 3:}\ 0,\ 3,\ 6,\ 9,\ \boxed{12},\ 15,\ ...\\\text{List of multiples of 4:}\ 0,\ 4,\ 8,\ \boxed{12},\ 16,\ ...\\\\12=3\cdot4\\\\\text{therefore}\\\\\dfrac{2}{3}=\dfrac{2\cdot4}{3\cdot4}=\dfrac{8}{12}\\\\\dfrac{3}{4}=\dfrac{3\cdot3}{4\cdot3}=\dfrac{9}{12}\\\\2\dfrac{2}{3}+12\dfrac{3}{4}=2\dfrac{8}{12}+12\dfrac{9}{12}=(2+12)+\dfrac{8+9}{12}=14+\dfrac{17}{12}\\\\=14+1\dfrac{5}{12}=15\dfrac{5}{12}

How do i find B with a table??
Artist 52 [7]
B is the Y-intercept or where the graph crosses the y-axis. they provide you with a few things which can help you figure this out. they give you the values of x and y in a table
X | Y
2  |  -5
4  |  -9            The difference between each Y value is 4...so, I add 4 to the -5
6  |  -13            and get -1...going up another value for the X would be at 0.  This leaves me with an ordered pair of (0,-1).....thus, the value of b is -1.
