To find the number we do the inverse of division, and that's multiplication. We multiply 8 x 5 x 3 to get 120, that's our number. So Fernando is thinking of the number 120, and we can prove that it's correct by dividing 120 / 3 then the result divide it by 5 and we get 8.

Simple, if you have the ending number as 8;

You divided it by 5. So go in reverse, and multiply by 5.

8*5=40

Then, do the same thing again, you divided it by 3, so multiply by 3.

40*3=120.

Thus, the number that Fernando gave to Maria is 120.

That depends on the shape of the triangle.

A scalene triangle has no lines of symmetry.
An isosceles triangle has one line of symmetry.
An equilateral triangle has three lines of symmetry.

If my hunch is correct, Watson, there is no triangle
with two and only two lines of symmetry.
