Answer:

1 23/25.

Step-by-step explanation:

Convert the mixed number to an improper fraction:

-1 3/5 = -8/5.

Now do the division:

-8/5 / -5/6

= -8/5 * -6 / 5

= 48/25

= 1 23/25.

ch4aika [34]
I think the correct answer among the choices presented above is option B. Average is the sum of all the data divided the number of data added. From the statement, we have 3 prices to be added and divided by 3. Therefore, the average is calculated as

<span>($32 + $45 + $39) ÷ 3</span>

kondaur [170]

Answer:

Probability that the company wins project A or project B is 0.50.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that a company is bidding on two projects, A and B. The probability that the company wins project A is 0.40 and the probability that the company wins project B is 0.25.

Also, Winning project A and winning project B are independent events.

Let the Probability of winning project A = P(A) = 0.40

            Probability of winning project B = P(B) = 0.25

<u>Now, as we know that ;</u>

Probability that the company wins project A or project B = P(A \bigcup B)

              P(A \bigcup B) = P(A) + P(B) -  P(A \bigcap B)

So, we have to find the value of Probability of winning project A and B, i.e;

P(A \bigcap B)

<em>Since, we are given that Winning project A and winning project B are independent events which means when this condition is given then;</em>

                    P(A \bigcap B) = P(A) \times P(B)

                                    = 0.40 \times 0.25 = 0.10

Now, Probability that the company wins project A or project B is given by;

                 P(A \bigcup B) = P(A) + P(B) -  P(A \bigcap B)

                                  = 0.40 + 0.25 - 0.10

                                  = 0.65 - 0.10 = 0.55

Hence, probability that the company wins project A or project B is 0.50.

∠A and \angle B∠B are vertical angles. If m\angle A=(6x-11)^{\circ}∠A=(6x−11) ∘ and m\angle B=(5x+4)^{\circ}∠B=(5x+4) ∘ , then f
ICE Princess25 [194]

Answer: \angle B=79^{\circ}.

Step-by-step explanation:

When two lines cross each other , then the opposite angles are known  as vertical angles.

Vertical angles are equal.

Here, ∠A and ∠B are vertical angles.

So, ∠A = ∠B

If \angle A=(6x-11)^{\circ} and \angle B=(5x+4)^{\circ}

Then , 6x-11=5x+4

Subtract 5x from both sides, we get

x-11=4

Add 11 on both sides, we get

x=15

Now , \angle B=(5(15)+4)^{\circ}=79^{\circ}

Hence, the measure of \angle B=79^{\circ}.
