How do you explain the changes in pulse wave when the arm is raised or lowered?
Vilka [71]
Your functions and blood are all moving by the force of gravity, so when everything is raised or lowered(moving your arm), your pulse wave changes. This can also result from subtlty in higher blood pressure, when activity occures. Just as your pulse waves changes in the rest of your body when excersising, you will have a slight change in pulse when simply moved your arm up and down, you're gettin' that blood pumping! ;)

Hope this helps :)

PLEASE HELP. Identify genetic factors in becoming obese.
alexira [117]

Answer:

Rarely, obesity occurs in families according to a clear inheritance pattern caused by changes in a single gene. The most commonly implicated gene is MC4R, which encodes the melanocortin 4 receptor. Changes in MC4R that diminish its function are found in a small fraction (<5%) of obese people in various ethnic groups.

You tap and shout to check for responsiveness but the patient does not respond. what is your next step after calling for help?
Alenkasestr [34]

Take care of the patient and no need to panic at that time, just try to call the emergency station.

What should you do immediately after you have checked for responsiveness and the person does not respond?

If we tap and shout to check the patient and the patient does not give any response then first of all we should call the emergency response system, but if we are alone in home then we should equip some emergency equipment. When the emergency team rescue the patient then we should to take care of patient properly and give him proper attention with medicines. This will lead to quick recovery of the patient so proper medical treatment is necessary for the patient.

So we can conclude that: Take care of the patient and no need to panic at that time, just try to call the emergency station.
