5+5 x 5+5 = what is the correct answer. Me and my Calculatior both come up with 55. My friends come with 100. If both the 5+5's were in parentheses. I would agree. So now I just need to know who is correct and why. Thank You.

5+5x5+5= 5+(5x5)+5
               =5+25+5
               =35
because when u have an operation that has multiplication and addition,u do the multiplication first.

35 is the correct answer because there a no parentheses, if there were parentheses it would be a different anwser.
