It will be a negative.

for an example: -20 for x would mqke 2x + 1 into -39 and 8x + 5 into -155. that's 116 apart, so maybe -2(8) + 5 = -11

-2(2) + 1 = -3

but that's only 8 apart, so it'd be higher.

-4(2) + 1 = -7

-4(8) + 5 = -27

BOOM

Tadaaaa,

You probably thought positive, but sometimes it's negative, you know what I mean?

Answer:

The first answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

First of all, the circle on -3 did not have filling so that means it is not equal to z. Then we look on the circle on 6. It does have a filling which means it is equal to and greater than z. Now we look in between -3 and 6. Is there any white spots? If no, then we don’t have to use an OR. Therefore, the first answer is the only plausible answer.

The function y = -15x + 2100 can be used to model the height, y, of a parachute jumper x seconds after she jumps from an airplan
olganol [36]

Answer:

2100 units

Step-by-step explanation:

We want to find the y-intercept of the function y=-15x+2100  which can be used to model the height, y, of a parachute jumper x seconds after she jumps from an airplane.

To find the y-intercept, you substitute x=0 into the equation.

y=-15(0)+2100

Multiply by zero to get:

y=0+2100

Add zero to obtain:

'y=2100

Therefore the y-intercept, which is the initial height is 2100
