X - C. X - C = d * 2

Remember, you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides


\frac{x-c}{2}=d
multiply both sides by 2
x-c=2d
minus x from both sides
-c=2d-x
multiplly both sides by -1
c=x-2d
