Answer:

<h2>The unit rate is about 10 cents per fluid once of grape of juice.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

By given, we know that 12 fl oz of grape juice costs $1.19. We can use the rule of three to find the unit rate.

If 12 fl oz of juice costs $1.19, how much would cost one fluid once of juice.

1floz\frac{\$1.19}{12floz} \approx \$0.10

Therefore, the unit rate is about 10 cents per fluid once of grape of juice.

To find the unit rate of a given amount, you have to divide the price by the fluid oz or amount. In this case it is 1.19 / 12. The quotient is 0.0991666667 or (rounded) $0.10.

ryzh [129]

Answer:

t=34.64 mins

Step-by-step explanation:

let Arya be A, Robot be B and Combined time be t

A+B=\frac{1}{t}\\A=\frac{1}{t+120}\\B=\frac{1}{t+10}\\\frac{1}{t+10}+\frac{1}{t+120}=t\\\frac{1}{t+10}=\frac{t+120-t}{t+120}\\t^2+120t=120t+1200\\t^2=1200\\t=34.6410

Help, I don’t understand this DeltaMath question
djyliett [7]
I can use the angle and the length of JH to find the length of IJ.

To do this, I look at the relationship IJ and JH have to the 52 degree angle. JH is opposite to angle I, and IJ is adjacent to angle I. Because the two side lengths are opposite and adjacent, I use the tangent function to solve this.

Tangent of an angle = the length of the opposite side / the length of the adjacent side. This is just another way to say tan(x)=opposite/adjacent

Now I can fill in what I know...
tan(52)=4.2/x
Now, I want to isolate x.
tan(52) = 4.2/x
x(tan(52))=4.2
x=4.2/tan(52)

Now I put 4.2/tan(52) into a calculator and get x = 3.3 ft

Hope this helps!

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

It is B because to find the volume you multiply all three values together, which gets you 68.448. I multiplied 9.2x3.1, which got me 28.52, and then I multiplied 28.52 by 2.4 which got me 68.448.

Use Part 1 of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus to find the derivative of the function.
seropon [69]

Answer:

h'(x)=\frac{3r^{2}}{2\sqrt{r^3+5}}

Step-by-step explanation:

1) The Fundamental Theorem of Calculus in its first part, shows us a reciprocal relationship between Derivatives and Integration

g(x)=\int_{a}^{x}f(t)dt \:\:a\leqslant x\leqslant b

2) In this case, we'll need to find the derivative applying the chain rule. As it follows:

h(x)=\int_{a}^{x^{2}}\sqrt{5+r^{3}}\therefore h'(x)=\frac{\mathrm{d} }{\mathrm{d} x}\left (\int_{a}^{x^{2}}\sqrt{5+r^{3}}\right )\\h'(x)=\sqrt{5+r^{3}}\\Chain\:Rule:\\F'(x)=f'(g(x))*g'(x)\\h'=\sqrt{5+r^{3}}\Rightarrow h'(x)=\frac{1}{2}*(r^{3}+5)^{-\frac{1}{2}}*(3r^{2}+0)\Rightarrow h'(x)=\frac{3r^{2}}{2\sqrt{r^3+5}}

3) To test it, just integrate:

\int \frac{3r^{2}}{2\sqrt{r^3+5}}dr=\sqrt{r^{3}+5}+C
