The length of the opposite side = 13cm

The length of the adjacent side = xcm

Applying Pythagoras theorem,

Hypothenuse ^2 = adjacent^2 + opposite ^2

19^2 = x^2 + 13^2

x^2 = 361 - 169 = 192

x = √192 = 13.8564

= 13.86 to the nearest tenth.
