A) 2277 =  110% of number in 2013

b) Number in 2013 = 90% of year before, 2012

2277 = 110% of Number in 2103

2277 = (110/100) * Number in 2013

2277 * 100/110   =  Number in 2013

2070 =   Number in 2013

Number in 2013 is = 2070

b) Number in 2013 = 90% of year before, 2012

     2070  =  (90/100) * Number in 2012

     2070 * 100/90  =  Number in 2012

     2300 =    Number in 2012

Hence number in 2012 =  2300 student athletes.

The effect of caffeine on taste is tested by randomly giving one sample of participants regular soda and another sample is given
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The correct answer is A. Both samples are dependent samples.

Step-by-step explanation:

Both samples are dependent samples, since to verify the effects of one, it is necessary to compare it with the effects and characteristics of the other.

Thus, in the case, it is intended to check the effects of caffeine on taste by using a regular soda sample first, and then comparing it with a decaffeinated soda sample. Therefore, the effects of one sample will be checked and compared with the other sample, so that there is a dependency relationship between the two, since neither could prove the hypothesis on its own.

What is f(x)=x^2 transformed 3 units to the left
stiv31 [10]

Answer:

Equation:

f(x) = (x + 3)^2

Graph: see image

Step-by-step explanation:

Translation just means shift or slide. To show a LEFT shift in the equation, go in close to the x, inside the parenthesis with the x, for LEFT shift, insert +3.

Left and right shifts might be the opposite of what you may think. Minus a number shifts right and plus a number shifts left.

For the graph, see image. The answer is the green curve.
