Combine like terms: (5/8)m - (1/2)m = 7/8 + 3/8 = 10/8

                                        (1/8)m = 10/8

Now mult both sides by 8 to remove 8 from the denominators:

                                             m = 10

What is the interquartile range of the data?
zysi [14]
An interquartile range is finding the median of the first half of the data set, and the second half, then subtracting the first median from the second one.

The median of the data set is..

17, 18, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 27, 34, 38, 40, 46, 46, 62, 67

Now we have to find the interquartile points.

17, 18, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 27, 34, 38, 40, 46, 46, 62, 67

The interquartile points are 20 and 46. So subtract:

46 - 20 = 26

The answer is 26. :)

Hopefully this helps! If you have any more questions or don't understand, feel free to DM me, and I'll get back to you ASAP! :)

The diameter is 12 inches. What is the area? What do I do to solve it please help!
SashulF [63]

Answer:

113.04 sq. in.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the diameter of the circle is 12", then the radius is 6" (half the diameter), and the area "A" is (approximately) 3.14 * 6^2. The calculation is approximate because 3.14 is a rounded value for pi.

The workers at Cameron's Flower shop are putting 1,323 flowers into vases for a party .Each base must hold exactly 8 flowers .Wh
Alika [10]

Answer:

165

Step-by-step explanation:

How many complete vases can Cameron's Flower shop fill with 8 flowers each, considering they have a total of 1,323 flowers in total.

All you have to do is divide 1,323 by 8 to get = 165.375 or 165 and 3/8.

Since the question is about COMPLETE vases of 8 flowers, that means the answer is 165, and we don't count the 3 remaining flowers.

Good job Cameron!
