Hello!

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope: \frac{Y^2-Y^1}{X^2-X^1}=\frac{rise}{run}

\frac{5-(-3)=5+3=8}{(-9)-(-3)=-9+3=-6}=\frac{8}{-6}=\frac{8/2}{-6/2}=\frac{4}{-3}

<u><em>Slope is -4/3</em></u>

<u><em>Answer is -4/3</em></u>

Hope this helps!

-Charlie

Thank you!

There is no correlation. We know this because it doesn’t matter how many samples were provided, the customers still bought approximately the same number of bottles.

Solve the system of equations is given below 2x+3y=18 x+7y=31
Veronika [31]
{2x + 3y = 18
x + 7y = 31}

2x+ 3y = 18
x=31-7

2(31-7)+3y=18

y=4

x=31-7*4
x=3

(x,y) = (3,4)

If a is an integer, which of the
sweet [91]
So to work this out we need to find the 4th root of each of those and pick the one that gives an integer.

A: \sqrt[4]{1.6*10^1^1} = 632.455... This is a decimal therefore <em>not</em> an integer.

B: \sqrt[4]{1.6*10^1^2} =1124.682... Again a decimal, therefore <em>not </em>an integer.

C: \sqrt[4]{1.6*10^1^3} =2000 This is a whole number, so it <em>is </em>an integer.

D: \sqrt[4]{1.6*10^1^4} =3556.558... Decimal, therefore <em>not </em>an integer

E: \sqrt[4]{1.6*10^1^5} =6324.555... Again a decimal, <em>not</em> an integer.

The only one that gives an integer when put to the 4th root is C, therefore:

1.6*10^1^3 could be A^4, as the 4th root of it is an integer.

F(x) = 2x and g(x) = x + 1, find f(3) and find gf(3)
lord [1]

Answer:

6 and 7

Step-by-step explanation:

To evaluate f(3), substitute x = 3 into f(x) , that is

f(3) = 2(3) = 6

To evaluate g(f(3)), substitute f(3) = 6 into g(x)

g(6) = 6 + 1 = 7
