Number the steps of stellar evolution in the correct order. 1.step 1 nuclear energy runs out; death; possible supernova. 2.step

2 cloud collapses under the force of its own gravitational attraction; usually triggered by a supernova. 3.step 3 other gas and matter of the nebular cloud begin to rotate around the protostar, forming a flattened, disk. 4.step 4 nebular cloud of gas and dust. 5.step 5 stellar core heats as it grows; nuclear fusion begins and a star is born. 6.step 6 condensed material begins to combine and form a core center. as it warms, a protostar is formed.

The steps of stellar evolution:
- Nebula - an immense cloud of gas and dust in interstellar space.
- Protostar - early form of a star; lies between the collapsing of dust and beginning of nuclear fusion.
- Clouds and matters begin to rotate around the protostar. They surround protostar like a rotating disk.
- The core continues to heat and when it is hot enough, nuclear fusion begins.
- The star can go through many stages and die in different ways. One of these ways is being a supernova.
- Supernova - a gigantic explosion in which a massive star collapses and throws its outer layers into space.
Answer:
Step 1 - 4. Nebular cloud of gas and dust.
Step 2. - 2. Cloud collapses under the force of its own gravitational attraction; usually triggered by a supernova.
Step 3. - 6. Condensed material begins to combine and form a core center, as it warms, a protostar is formed.
Step 4. - 3. Other gas and matter of the nebular cloud begin to rotate around the protostar, forming a flattened disk.
Step 5. - 5. Stellar core heats as it grows; nuclear fusion begins and a star is born.
Step 6. - 1.Nuclear energy runs out; death: possible supernova.

As a train accelerates uniformly, it passes successive 5-kilometer markers while traveling at velocities 10 m/s and 25 m/s. what
gregori [183]
122.0 km/hr. First let’s make sure all of our units are in the base meter form: i.e. convert 5km to 5000m. (We will convert back to km later). The first thing to do is look at the equation relating velocity, acceleration, and distance: Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2*a*d, where Vf is final velocity, Vi is initial velocity, a is acceleration, and d is distance. 25^2 = 10^2 + 2*a*5000 =?> 625 = 100 +10000a => a= 0.0525m/s^2. Now that we have acceleration, we can use the same equation again with different numbers.: Vf^2 = Vi^2 + 2*a*d = 25^2 + 2*0. 0525m*5000 = 625 + 525 =1150 => Vf^2 = 1150 => 33.9m/s. Convert to km/hour: 33.9m/s * 1km/1000m *60s/1min * 60min/ 1 hr = 122.0 km/hr.

What two things keeps the planets, asteroids, comets and moons in orbit?
gregori [183]
Answer:

The sun's gravity pulls the planet toward the sun, which changes the straight line of direction into a curve. This keeps the planet moving in an orbit around the sun. Because of the sun's gravitational pull, all the planets in our solar system orbit around it.

Does anyone know what uranium is???
schepotkina [342]
The answer to your question is "Yes". Great numbers of people ... chemists,
physicists, and common folks alike ... know what Uranium is.

=================================

Uranium is one of the 92 elements that are found to occur in nature.
In the Periodic Table of the Elements, it is Element #92 ... Its atoms
contain 92 protons in their nucleii.
