Given a regular pentagon,

Two sides of the pentagon are produced to form angle x.

Therefore, x is an interior angle

We know that the Sum of exterior angles of a pentagon = 360°

In a regular pentagon, all angles are equal,

Therefore, each exterior angle of a regular pentagon = 360/5 = 72 degrees

We also know that an exterior angle and its corresponding interior angle are supplements.

Therefore, each interior angle of a regular pentagon = 180 – 72 = 108 degrees

Therefore, x = 108 degrees

Consider the functions f and g in the tables below. f(x) = 90x2 + 180x + 92 x y 0 92 1 362 2 812 3 1,442 4 2,252 5 3,242 g(x) =
sukhopar [10]

Since f(x) is a polynomial function and g(x) is an exponential function, we know that both the value and the rate of change of g(x) will exceed those of f(x) when x gets large.

The rate of change of g(x) is less than that of f(x) for x < 3.4. The value of g(x) is less than that of f(x) for x < 4.39. Of the statements offered, the only one that is true is ...

... As x increases, the rate of change of g exceeds the rate of change of f.

_____

In the attached graph, the functions are graphed as solid lines; their rates of change are graphed as dashed lines of the same color.

F(h) = 45+<br> 20<br> h +0.5<br> g(h) = 45 + 33(0.5) (h+0.5)
larisa [96]

Steps:

Question 1:

Step 1: Multiply both sides by h+0.5.

Step 2: Factor out variable f.

Step 3: Divide both sides by h^2+0.5h.

Question 2

Let's solve for g.

Step 1: Divide both sides by h.

Answers:

1: f=45h+42.5/h²+0.5h

2: g=16.5h+53.25/h

7. Solve for x in the equation.<br>Log27(x + 7) - Log27 (x - 1) = 2/3
babunello [35]

Answer:

x = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

log27(x + 7) - log27(x - 1) = ⅔

log27[(x + 7)/(x - 1)] = ⅔

(x + 7)/(x - 1) = 27^⅔

(x + 7)/(x - 1) = 9

x + 7 = 9(x - 1)

x + 7 = 9x - 9

8x = 16

x = 2

daser333 [38]

Answer:

10 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

Step one:

given data

we have 3 passengers to be formed from 5

so the expression for the combination is given as

Cn, r)= n!/r!(n-r)!

substitute

C(5, 3)= 5!/3!(5-3)!

C(5, 3)= 5!/3!(2)!

C(5, 3)= 5*4*3/3!(2)!

C(5, 3)= 5*4*/2*1

C(5, 3)= 20/2

C(5, 3)=10 ways
