  The profit on the sale of a small bag of popcorn is $1, while the profit on the sale of a medium bag of popcorn is $2. The Gle

e Club expects to sell fewer than 100 total bags of popcorn, but they hope to make more than $100 in profit. The system that represents this is s + m<100 and s+2m>100.

Let number of small bags = s

Let number of medium bags = m

Given profit on 1 small bag = $1

then profit on s bags = 1s

Given profit on 1 medium bag = $2

then profit on m bags = 2m

Now total profit from both type of bags is 1x+2y

profit should be more than $100 so we get inequality

1s+2m>100

Total number of bags are fewer than 100 so we get

s+m<100

which are same as inequalities you found.

Hence your answer is correct.

A cone and 2 cylinders are shown below. The volume of the cone is 15 cubic centimeters. Each of the 2 cylinder has the same heig
shutvik [7]

Answer:

90cm^{3}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Given:</u>

The volume of a cylinder =15cm^{3}

Height of cone = Height of either cylinder

Radius of cone=Radius of either cylinder

<u>Formula:</u>

Volume of a cone =\pi r^{2}h/3

Volume of a cylinder =\pi r^{2}h

<u>To find: </u>Combined volume of both cylinders.

The volume of a cylinder =15cm^{3}

\pi r^{2}h/3=15cm^{3}

\pi r^{2}h=15 * 3cm^{3}

\pi r^{2}h=45cm^{3}

[As

Height of cone = Height of either cylinder

Radius of cone=Radius of either cylinder<u>]</u>

\pi r^{2}h=45cm^{3}  is the volume of one cylinder.

Combined volume of cylinder = 2* Volume of cylinder = 2*45 =90cm^{3}

A binomial experiment refers to a measurable test that has the accompanying properties: The trial comprises of n repeated trials. Every trial can bring about only two conceivable results. We call one of these results a win and the other, a disappointment. The likelihood of accomplishment, meant by p, is the same on each trial.

What is the score if total question is 85 and correct is 68?
kiruha [24]
You can find percentages like this by taking the total number of questions dividing it by 100 to find out how much each question was worth, then multiplying by the number correct.

So, 85 ÷ 100 ≈ 1.18

1.18 x 68 ≈ 80

So, the score was 80%.
