Alexandra is climbing a tree that is 105 feet tall. She has climbed 70 feet so far. if f= the number of feet remaining, which gr
Alex17521 [72]
Right answer is B. If we have f equal the amount of her remaining way so f it will be the difference between the way she has gone and her finish line. So we have 70 in the approximate middle of her way and F is between 70 feet and 105 feet, so 105=70+F

If the triangle shown is translated vertically 3 units and horizontally -4 units graph the image of the triangle
Romashka [77]
Okay so you need to write down all of your original points, for example:
<A (1,1)
<B (3,4)
<C (5,1)
so now for each of those coordinates you would subtract four from each X and add 3 to each Y. For example:
Original Cord.:                             Translated Cord.:
<A (1,1)                                       <A' (-3,4)
<B (3,4)                                       <B' (-1,6)
<C (5,1)                                       <C' (2, 4)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
So just follow my steps but with your points, then graph both the original coordinates and the translated coordinates. AND DON'T FORGET TO LABEL THE POINTS LIKE I DID WHEN GRAPHING!!!!!!!!

Dimas [21]
V = (1/3)(b^2)(h)
b = 48/4 = 12cm
h = 12cm
V = (1/3)(144)(12) = 576cm^3 (third choice)

3)
V = (pi)(r^2)(h)
V = (3.14)(64)(8) = 1608cm^3 (not one of the choices but I'm certain that this calculation is correct)
