The difference between "k" and "g" is also the distance between them

thus \bf \textit{distance between 2 points}\\ \quad \\
\begin{array}{lllll}
&x_1&y_1&x_2&y_2\\
%  (a,b)
k&({{ -2}}\quad ,&{{ -1}})\quad
%  (c,d)
g&({{ 2}}\quad ,&{{ 8}})\\\\

\end{array}\qquad
%  distance value
d = \sqrt{({{ x_2}}-{{ x_1}})^2 + ({{ y_2}}-{{ y_1}})^2}\\\\
-----------------------------\\\\
kg=\sqrt{[2-(-2)]^2+[8-(-1)]^2}

A circle is inscribed in an equilateral triangle with a side length measuring 10 mm.
Tamiku [17]
For side length s the area of the triangle is
.. A = (√3)/4*s^2
The radius of the circle will be
.. r = s/(2√3)
so the area of the circle is
.. A = π*r^2 = π*s^2/12

The fraction of the triangle that is not in the circle is
.. 1 - (π/12)/((√3)/4)
.. = 1 -π/(3√3)
.. ≈ 39.54%

Julio has started his very own floral business. He sells centerpieces for $19.50 each. His fixed costs are $500 per month, and e
Phantasy [73]
The total cost, C, is the sum of the cost to produce the centerpieces and the fixed cost. The equation for C is C = 8n + 500.

The total revenue, R, of Julio's floral business is the product of the cost per centerpiece and the number of centerpieces sold. The equation for R is R = 19.50n.

A spring has an original length L inches. When a weight of x pounds is suspended from the spring, its new length y is given by t
mariarad [96]
The way I figured this one out was saying that if it takes 2lbs to stretch it to 12 inches and 5lbs to stretch to 18 inches that means that 3 additional pounds = 6 inches. Therefore, each additional pound is 2 inches. We know already that with 2 lbs it was 12 inches in length and we can also say that 2 lbs = 4 inches. So subtract 4 from 12 and you end up with the answer of 8 inches.
