Convert the problem to an equation using the percentage formula: P% * X = Y.
P is 10%, X is 150, so the equation is 10% * 150 = Y.

Answer:

y = 3x - 1

Step-by-step explanation

We manipulate the scatter plot feature in Ms. Excel then we simply add the linear trend line displaying the equation on the chart.

The excel output is attached below.

The relation exhibited by the data set is y = 3x - 1; given the value of x, the value of y is obtained by multiplying x by 3 and subtracting 1 from the result.

Use the info given to find the new price: original price: $24 and discount rate: 11%. What is the new price????
ELEN [110]
So I think you have to find 11% of 24 and that is 11/100 x 24 = 2.64$. Then you reduce it to the real price 24-2.64= 21.36$ (the new prize). I might be completly wrong but I hope this helps

charle [14.2K]

Answer:

missing side length = 9

Step-by-step explanation:

c^{2} = a^{2} + b^{2}

a = 6

b = 7

c = missing side

c^{2} = 6^{2} + 7^{2}

c^{2} = 36 + 49

c^{2} = 85

\sqrt{c^{2} } = \sqrt{85}

c = 9.219 = 9
