You need the area of the sector created by the radii and the intercepted arc minus the area of the triangle created by the central angle of 120 and the segment BG.  The area of the sector is, according to our info: A= \frac{120}{360}*(3.14)(100) ^{2} which is 10466.6666.  Now we need the area of the triangle which is not as simple.  If the central angle of the whole triangle is 120, then if we split it in half and deal with right triangles only, the angle measure is now 60, and we have a 30-60-90 special right triangle.  If the hypotenuse (radius) is 100, in our pythagorean triple for that right triangle means that 100=2x and x = 50, which is going to be the side length for the side opposite the 30.  That happens to be the height of the triangle, which we need for the area.  We also need the base, which according to our Pythagorean triple, being the side across from the 60 degree angle, is 50 sqrt 3. but that's only half the side (we are still dealing with half of the whole triangle) and that means that the length of the whole side is 100 sqrt 3.  Now we can find the area of the triangle: A= \frac{1}{2}(100 \sqrt{3})(50) which is 2500 \sqrt{3}.  Now subtract the area of the triangle from the area of the sector: 10466.666-2500 \sqrt{3} =6136.5

Two integers, a and b have different signs. The absolute value of integer that got this description. Then decide if the product
Vika [28.1K]

Since a and b have opposite signs then both the product and quotient will be negative. The absolute value of a · b will be greater than the absolute value of \frac{a}{b}.

Without the absolute value sign, then since both the product and the quotient are negative, a · b < \frac{a}{b}

Answer: the product is less than the quotient

A ball is dropped from a height of 10 meters. Each time it bounces, it reaches 50 percent of its previous height. The total vert
xz_007 [3.2K]
After every drop, the ball bounces to half it's previous height. With that understood.

1st drop -The ball drops 10m

1st bounce - 5m up
2nd drop - 5m down

2nd bounce - 2.5m up
3rd drop - 2.5m down

3rd bounce - 1.25m up
4th drop - 1.25m down

4th bounce - 0.625m up
5th/last drop - 0.625m down

To find the total vertical distance, you add them all.

10+5+5+2.5+2.5+1.25+1.25+0.625+0.625
=29.25m travelled in all.

Answer:

The angle ZLK has a value of 75 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can calculate this as:

m\angle MLZ+m\angle ZLK=m\angle MLK\\\\(x+66)+(x+86)=130\\\\2x+152=130\\\\2x=130-152\\\\x=-22/2=-11\\\\\\m\angle ZLK=x+86=-11+86=75

We replace the angles values in the equation, as both angles that are formed with Z (MLZ and ZLK), when added, gives as the angle MLK. This allows us to calculate x. The value for x is -11.

Then, with the value for x we can calculate any of both angles.
