Hey there!

The answer is $50 because $20 is 40%, so times that by 2 which you get $20 and 80%. Then you divide 20 by 2 then you get 10 which is 20% so you add 10 and you get $50 which is 100%

A researcher wants to know if there is a relationship between the number of shopping centers in a state and the retail sales (in
sesenic [268]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the data:

Num shopping centers (X) :

630

370

616

700

430

558

1200

2976

Sales (Y) :

15.5

7.5

13.9

18.7

8.2

13.2

23.0

87.3

The regression equation obtained using the online regression calculator is :

y = 0.03025X - 4.87014

2.) The slope value, for every unit change in number of shopping centers, the number of sales increases by 0.03025

3.)

The Coefficient of determination (R²) as obtained by the R² value calculator is : 0.9823

4.)

About 98% of variation in number of sales is explained by the regression line

5.)

Correlation Coefficient = 0.9911

H0 : p ≥ 0.99

H1 : p < 0.99

HELP Luna observed that in the last 12 issues of Rise Over Run Weekly, 384 of the 960 pages contained an advertisement.
Veseljchak [2.6K]
Well, 12 issues end up as 960 pages total

so... if in 960 pages, 384 are ads, what about 80 pages?

well \bf \begin{array}{ccllll}
pages&ads\\
\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash&\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\\
960&384\\
80&x
\end{array}\implies \cfrac{960}{80}=\cfrac{384}{x}

solve for "x"

Identify the equation of a line in slope-intercept form that is perpendicular to y = -1/3 x + 2 and passes through (2, 1).
kari74 [83]
To get your answer, you will need to find the perpendicular slope for -1/3x which is just the opposite therefore it will be 3x. Your slope is 3x as perpendicular so use this slope to do point slope. Y-1=3(x-2). Distribute y-1=3x-6. Add 1 to both sides. (-1+1) (-6+1)=-5. So your equation in slope intercept form is y=3x-5. Going through the two points.

Hope this helps!
