Mathematics

The endpoints are the points which represent or marks the end of a line segment or an interval. So, the endpoints would be the same points given which are ( 5/3, 1 ) and ( 0, 2). The midpoint, on the other hand, is the point that is located halfway through the line segment or the interval. It divides the segment into two parts with equal lengths. We calculate it by the formula,
midpoint = ((x1 + x2) / 2, (y1 + y2) / 2)

We substitute the points given above to the formula as follows:

midpoint = ((5/3 + 0) / 2, (1 + 2) / 2)
midpoint = 5/6 , 3/2

So, the midpoint is located at point 5/6, 3/2.

If the length of a side of a square is x CM its perimeter is
andreev551 [17]

Square perimeter =4x cm.

The complete length that a square's edge encompasses is referred to as its perimeter. Any enclosed geometric shape's perimeter may be computed by measuring the space around it.

By calculating the total of all the sides of a square, the perimeter may be determined. The perimeter of a square will be stated as,

The perimeter of square = s + s + s + s

⇒Perimeter of square = 4s, where "s" is the side length of the square.

This is because all edges of a square are equal and each edge measures "s" units.

Calculating the perimeter of a square:

Mathematically, the formula for calculating a square's perimeter is: Square perimeter, (P) = 4 Side

⇒P= 4x cm

It is concluded that the solution is 4x cm.

The segments shown below could form a triangle. 4,3,6 PLZ HELP ASAP
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

Option A. True

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The Triangle Inequality Theorem, states that the sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle is greater than the length of the third side

we have

4,3 and 6

Applying the triangle inequality theorem

case 1) 4+3 > 6 -----> is true

case 2) 3+6 > 4 ----> is true

therefore

The given segments could form a triangle

Is true

Round to the nearest ten and hundred 829
Musya8 [376]
To the nearest ten, 829 would become 830 because the ones digit (9) is closer to 30 than it is to 20. So we would round up.

To round to the nearest hundred, we look at the tens and ones digit. 29 is less than 50 so we would have to round down to 800 instead of rounding up to 900.

Hope that helps :)
